A creative idea for fragrance-lasting body sugar scrubs, produced with natural and organic ingredients containing vitamins, proteins and minerals, quickly expanded into unique bath and body oils, body crème and moisturizing lip sugar scrub all made with the ábbi style!
When it comes to quality the dedication is in the name. ábbi, (the combined name of the founders’ two daughters) inspires the essence of the product and the quality of its production. History of ábbi
ábbi founder Cheri Johnson was in senior management at a large professional services firm. But to her friends she was simply known as the beauty product junkie! As an environmentally conscious mother, Cheri was uncomfortable with the fact that she could only understand about a quarter of the ingredients in the body sugar scrubs she was using. She found that most of what was listed on the label was stuff she never heard of and worst of all that “stuff” had to be re-mixed prior to each use because the oil would separate from the sugar! Believing she could use her passion to create a superior product, she spent over a year developing the perfect all natural body sugar scrub. A sugar scrub that didn’t have to be mixed over and over; a sugar scrub with a subtle lasting scent; a sugar scrub that left your skin feeling silky smooth to the touch; and a sugar scrub made with environmentally friendly “stuff” you can actually understand and feel safe having in your home…..what a concept! After using her new creation for over a year, she finally decided it was perfected enough to share with friends. It became an instant success.
