This is My First Time using your Sugar Scrub, How Do I Use It?

After cleansing, use your hands and scoop out a generous portion of the Sugar Scrub and rub all over your neck, shoulders, arms, stomach, and legs … and then rinse! You will get a gentle exfoliation from the fine milled sugar crystals which, upon contact with water, will emulsify and your skin will begin absorbing the Coconut, Vitamin E and Macadamia Oils, all rich moisturizers. Pat dry when you get out of the shower. No need to use lotion.

This product can also be used as a shaving cream. Uses as directed, once the exfoliating sugar have rinsed off, shave your legs as you normally would. Your legs will be smooth and moisturized when you’re done.

The product has also been known to be a great addition to a pedicure or the perfect way to end the day and give your feet some TLC that they deserve!

The Scrub Smells Wonderful is it Edible?

No, sorry please do not eat the products. While the sugar scrubs are made with organic and natural ingredients most of them do contain fragrance oils and are for external use only. Please keep the lid on them and keep them away from children and pets.

What are the Body Oils Used For?

Our Body Oil is a Coconut, Macadamia, Vitamin E and Sweet Almond Oil based product with NO petroleum or mineral oils in it. You can use this product right when you get out of the shower to lock in moisture then pat dry. Or you can use it in the shower as a shaving cream or as the last thing you do before getting out of the shower as a moisturizer. (Your skin will be more hydrated if you moisturize before completely drying off). The Body Oil can also be used after sun exposure, as a massage oil, to keep your nails and cuticles hydrated, as part of your nightly foot hydration ritual or as deep conditioner for your hair (put on hair before washing).

How is the Lip Scrub Used?

Our moisturizing lip scrub eliminates dry, flaky skin yet it’s gentle enough to be used every day. Just apply a generous amount onto lips using a firm, circular motion. Wipe clear with a tissue. Enjoy soft and beautiful lips!!

Coconut Oil
Coconut oil's ability to nourish and heal the skin has been known in the tropics for hundreds of years. The benefit of coconut oil is known for preventing dryness and flaking of skin. It also delays wrinkles, and sagging of skin which normally become prominent with age. Coconut oil is also helps in treating various skin problems including psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema and other skin infections. Additionally, coconut oil helps in preventing premature aging and degenerative diseases due to its antioxidant properties.

Sweet Almond Oil
Sweet Almond Oil is an excellent emollient, which has been known to alleviate dry skin, soothe inflammation, relieves itching caused by eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis and also soothes sunburn. In addition, this oil provides essential fatty acids and is rich in vitamins as it contains Vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and E.

Macadamia Nut
This nutritious and healthy oil comes from the pressed nuts of the Macadamia tree. It is a priceless delight for the skin and has proven itself to be one of the best regenerative oils available. It is high in monounsaturated fatty acids, and closely resembles sebum (the oil naturally produced by ones skin to help protect it). Macadamia oil is a fabulous protective oil with a high absorption rate. It has been successfully used as a healing oil for scars, sunburns, minor wounds and other irritations. It also has great anti-oxidant effects that help neutralize free radicals.

Vitamin E
Vitamin E is a plant derived  antioxidant that helps protect from free-radical damage and against oxidation. It is absorbed well into the skin, improves skin's water binding ability, increases skin elasticity and improves appearance of rough, dry and damaged skin.

Honey
Honey contains powerful antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and amino acids that nourish the skin.  It is also a humectant, which means it attracts and retains moisture, making your skin glow and more radiant.

Sugar Cane
Sugar is a natural exfoliate that contains glycolic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid that is important for maintaining healthy skin. The natural glycolic acid in sugar not only helps condition and moisturize skin, but protectacid in sugar not only helps condition and moisturize skin, but also protects it from toxins. When you regularly exfoliate your skin with a sugar scrub, it becomes healthier in appearance and function. After dead skin has been exfoliated, your body’s largest organ works more efficiently to expel toxins and take in nourishment. Skin becomes more uniform in appearance, is softer to touch, and has a radiant glow. Plus sugar body scrubs are gentler, less dehydrating than salt scrubs.

Shea Butter
Derived from African Butter tree nuts.  A non-greasy moisturizer that softens & protects dry, damaged skin, and promotes skin elasticity.

Cocoa Seed Butter
Derived from the seeds of the African Cacao tree.  This ultra moisturizing butter softens skin and provides a breathable barrier against the everyday elements.

Grape Seed Oil
Grape seed oil is light in texture yet very reach in essential fatty acids and antioxidants that help repair the skin’s moisture barrier.  It is very rich in vitamins minerals and protein and helps to restore skins smoothness and suppleness. 

 

Here are a few of the skin-unfriendly ingredients you will NOT find in our products: 
mineral oils, petroleum, parabens, petrochemicals, phthalates, propylene glycol, silicone, sulfates and synthetic dyes.

Do you sell your products wholesale?

Do you offer Salt Scrubs?

We’re sorry, we do not.  All ábbi Body Sugar Scrubs are made with pure cane sugar as the exfoliate rather than salt.  Our studies have shown that it is less abrasive than salt and it doesn’t string if it comes in contact with any cuts.

Is it safe to use in the Shower?

If you’re going to use ábbi Body Sugar Scrubs in the shower, be careful!  As with all body sugar scrubs, they contain oil, so it may cause the surface to become slippery.

How are Shipping Cost Calculated?

When you place an order with us your shipping will automatically be calculated for you based on the weight of the products and delivery location you selected. Just choose the option that suits you from the pull down menu in the checkout process. Please note, during the summer months or when shipping to tropical areas, all products are shipped by 2-day air due to product sensitivity.

How Long Will it Take to Receive My Order?

In-stock orders received by 11am, Monday through Friday, are shipped within 2- 3 days.

Do you charge sales tax?

Michigan orders are subject to a 6.4% sales tax. All other orders are not subject to a sales tax.

What if I’m not satisfied with the product?

Your satisfaction is of most importance to us. If for some reason, you are not satisfied with your product please call us within 5 days of receipt and we will make it right. Please do not return an item to us without getting prior authorization first.

Do you test on Animals?

Absolutely not! ábbi is committed to using alternatives to animal testing to ensure the safety and efficiency of our products. Please be assured that we absolutely do not conduct ingredient or final product testing on animals and do not work with those who do.

ábbi is committed to our environment and reducing our carbon footprint. Our products are made with natural and organic ingredients. We avoid using harsh chemicals and unnatural products that could hurt the environment.

Bottles used in our packaging are made with recyclable material. They require 24% less energy to produce and generate 40% less solid waste than glass bottles. We also minimize excess packaging to not inflict harm to the environment. Furthermore, we recycle all incoming plastics and packaging.
